The Eagle County Junior Livestock Auction celebrates the dedication and accomplishments of Eagle County 4-H members. After months of raising, feeding, and caring for their market livestock, these young exhibitors earn the opportunity to showcase the results of their hard work in the sale ring.
The 2026 Eagle County Junior Livestock Auction will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds, with both online and in-person bidding available. Enjoy a complimentary buyers' lunch during the auction.
Behind every market animal is months of dedication. These exhibitors spend early mornings, late evenings, and weekends feeding, training, and caring for their livestock. Along the way, they develop responsibility, perseverance, and pride in a job well done. Auction day is the culmination of their hard work.
When you bid, you're doing more than purchasing high quality beef, pork, lamb, goat, rabbit, or poultry. You're investing in Eagle County's youth and recognizing their dedication and work ethic. More than 96% of every purchase goes directly to the exhibitor, helping fund future livestock, education, and leadership opportunities.

Raising a 4-H animal takes months of work, daily care, and a major financial investment. Local youth purchase, feed, train, and care for their animals while learning responsibility, commitment, and animal husbandry.
When you buy at the auction, you are not just purchasing local meat — you are investing in hardworking young people and the future of agriculture.
Your support helps exhibitors:
- Fund future projects
- Save for education
- Develop leadership skills

When you invest in the Eagle County Junior Livestock Auction, you're investing in the future of our youth. More than 96% of every animal purchase goes directly to the exhibitor, helping offset the cost of raising livestock and supporting future 4-H projects, educational opportunities, and continued involvement in agriculture.
Your purchase rewards months of hard work while giving young people the opportunity to build confidence, responsibility, and lifelong skills.
