Don’t miss this opportunity to stock up on top quality, locally raised beef, pork, lamb, goat, rabbit, and poultry. Plus, your participation in the auction will provide untold opportunities to Eagle County’s hardest working kids. In fact, over 95% of the proceeds from your purchase go directly to the child who raised your animal! Don't miss the opportunity to place your bids and support our local kids. Register as a bidder today.

The Benefits of Bidding

ALPINE BANK BUYER'S LUNCH

Registered bidders and their families will be treated to a tasty BBQ lunch. It's going to be one heckuva spread, so come out and dig in!

BUYERS RECEIVE

There's no better way to show your support for the future leaders our community. When you bid to win, you'll also walk away with a freezer full of top quality, locally raised beef, pork, lamb, goat, rabbit, or poultry.

Following completion of the sale, all buyers will receive a personal thank you letter and a framed 8” x 10” color photo of the 4-H member they supported and the animal they purchased. Buyers will be recognized in the next year’s Junior Livestock Auction flyer, in the Vail Daily, and on the Eagle County website.

Purchase Options

Options for processing your animal:

1. STOCK UP

Fill your freezer by purchasing an animal on your own or split it with a friend. How much meat will you get out of a 1,200 lb market steer? Get the breakdown here.

2. DONATE YOUR PURCHASE

Donate your animal to a worthy cause, such as The Community Market. Ask your accountant about tax deduction possibilities!

3. BUY BACK

Buyers may consign their purchase(s) back to the Junior Livestock Committee. Your purpose of buying at the auction would be solely for support and promotion. Buyers do not retain possession of the animal with this option.

****There will be a fee of 3% if a CREDIT CARD is used for the purchase.*****
